Astruct credits or your own API key
Two ways to pay for AI work. Astruct credits need nothing else; your own OpenAI API key is billed by that provider.
Astruct is priced per project per month, with unlimited users, plus credits for AI use. The AI work itself is paid for in one of two ways. You choose in Settings > Model account, and you can change at any time.
Use Astruct credits
The default. Astruct’s own models, under OpenAI’s business API terms, with no training on your data. Use is metered as credits, shown in Settings > Billing and credits. Beyond the credits included, each credit is AU$1.00, billed monthly.
Use your own API key
Add your own OpenAI API key. Astruct’s chat then runs on your key, and OpenAI bills you for it. Those requests go to OpenAI under your agreement with them.
Codex and Claude Code on your computer
Your Astruct Computer has a Terminal. You can sign in to your own Codex or Claude Code there and use them yourself, under OpenAI’s or Anthropic’s terms for your account. Astruct’s chat does not use them.
