Your letterhead and Word files
Drafts download as .docx on your letterhead, laid out the way your company already writes its letters.
Every draft downloads as a Word file, so it fits the way your team already signs and sends letters.
Download
In Draft or on an issue, choose Download .docx.
Your letterhead and format
Astruct takes your format from a letter your company has actually sent. Give it a recent letter as a Word file, and it reads:
- the page size and margins;
- the fonts and spacing;
- the letterhead on the first page, including your logo;
- the running header and the footer, with its page numbers.
Every later .docx is built in that format. Astruct copies what the file itself contains, rather than guessing, so the result looks like your own letters.
To set it up, upload the letter to the project and ask Astruct to use it as your template.
The way you write
Astruct drafts in plain, formal Australian English, and follows the structure your letters already use: references and dates at the top, numbered paragraphs, the clause each point relies on, and a signature block for the person giving the notice. If your team writes a particular way, show Astruct a few of your past letters and ask it to follow them.
Editing in Word
Open the file in Word and change what you like. If you want Astruct to make a change instead, ask in the chat or edit in Draft and download again.
