Mailbox access
Each mailbox is private to the person who connected it until an admin gives others access.
When someone connects their mailbox, only they can search it and only they get answers from it. An owner or admin decides who else may.
Give access
- Open Settings > Mailbox access. Only owners and admins see it.
- Choose whose mailbox.
- Choose who may use it: one person, or everyone in the organisation.
- Choose Give access.
Two switches for each person
- Search: they can find messages from that mailbox in Search and Mail.
- Astruct may read: Astruct can use messages from that mailbox when answering their questions and drafting for them.
Turn either off at any time, or remove the access altogether.
Good practice
- Share project mailboxes, such as a shared commercial inbox, with the project team.
- Keep personal mailboxes private unless there is a reason to share them.
- Review access when someone changes projects or leaves.
Astruct reads every connected mailbox to find issues for the projects it belongs to. Issues and their evidence are visible to people who can see the project. The quoted evidence is limited to the words needed to show the issue.
